FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Ferfecki in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Alfredão Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Abbiati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszek Ferfecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszek Ferfecki in the 11th minute of play forced Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Abbiati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Raymundo in the 13th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, KANONIERZY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Sobania to maneuver through the defense. Zbyszek Ferfecki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Raymundo made a kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by KANONIERZY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Donato Tesone was slow to take the kick. During this time Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Alfredão Massa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Marcos de Barros got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute of the match Gösta Söderberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Augusto Neto skillfully saved the ball. Pedro Augusto Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Sobania, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ali Hamza Hanefi made a great header on KANONIERZY's corner, it was just that Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ali Hamza Hanefi sped through Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Augusto Neto. Christian Abbiati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavinho de Lara in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Alfredão Massa threw the ball into play from the sideline. KANONIERZY's Ivo Chaves quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to KANONIERZY getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Zbyszek Ferfecki hit a great ball. If Alfredão Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Zbyszek Ferfecki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Augusto Neto was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. KANONIERZY were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ime Mavros took the corner. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Zbyszek Ferfecki put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Augusto Neto.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KANONIERZY fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
