The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 2-2. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

The Olds School Pepo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olds School Pepo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
