After a defensive mix-up in VN SOKOLI-VARNA's zone, Nelson Hawley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lilko Timov came out of the goal and Nelson Hawley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Quirce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rostislav Sitarski in the 23rd minute of the match. When VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Rostislav Sitarski in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sebastian Quirce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VN SOKOLI-VARNA. Okaner Kornes made in the 38th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ayoub Adel however managed to control. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Pan FC's Arnaldo Urtzi was substituted for 许明卫. Sebastian Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiao Qing Ying, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 54 minutes Pan FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ayoub Adel who took care of the corner kick. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goalkeeper Lilko Timov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Sebastian Quirce successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pan FC's Sebastian Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloi Ocomardia in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 played minutes VN SOKOLI-VARNA got a freekick which was hit by Okaner Kornes. Pan FC's Sixto Raymond was substituted for Nelson Hawley. Okaner Kornes kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 69 minutes of play, Pan FC's Arnaldo Urtzi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lilko Timov was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Ambrosio Opilano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lilko Timov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lilko Timov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Urtzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Pan FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Quirce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rostislav Sitarski. Rostislav Sitarski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastian Quirce came out and tried to block the shot, but Rostislav Sitarski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 85th minute. Ambrosio Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lilko Timov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Urtzi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Lilko Timov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pan FC. Eloi Ocomardia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Quirce having to interfere. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 2-2. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Eloi Ocomardia in VN SOKOLI-VARNA was the one to initiate the kick off. 103 minutes into the match, Pan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Todorov came free, but Sebastian Quirce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 109th minute, Qiao Qing Ying made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Quirce. Pan FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The Pan FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching VN SOKOLI-VARNA's performance. The match ended with a win for VN SOKOLI-VARNA.
