Benito Lluterio started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Luis Galarza got control of the ball when Braulio Milian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tincho Palermo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 4thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Luis Galarza would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Luis Galarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tincho Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Benito Lluterio might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lazaros Kabantais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Lluterio ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Lluterio in the 8th minute of play forced Los Materos FC's goalkeeper Lazaros Kabantais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's Tincho Palermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Galarza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tincho Palermo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Luis Galarza made a huge save. After having played for 22 minutes, Benito Lluterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalatakaya F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Lluterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lazaros Kabantais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Lluterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Braulio Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Galarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Materos FC's Lazaros Kabantais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Lluterio in the 40th minute of play. After 45 minutes Los Materos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alejandro Chumacero who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Kalatakaya F.C.'s Alejandro Chumacero to fire away a dangerous shot which Lazaros Kabantais despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aaron Gauargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Recep Guftar was substituted for Aaron Gauargi.

Moises Kelemen replaced Salomón Enríquez. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kalatakaya F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alvaro Cordarrol was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Materos FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Alvaro Cordarrol got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luis Galarza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luis Galarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Luis Galarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Molina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Igor Salvidor fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Materos FC's protests and gave Igor Salvidor a yellow card for diving instead. 93 minutes into the game, one of Los Materos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lazaros Kabantais went to the wrong direction when Benito Lluterio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Cordarrol came free, but Luis Galarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
