When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Bruno Capello took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marcus Hagström to make any attempt to save it. Bruno Capello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Hagström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Ros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Capello in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Hagström saved Rank 1 from getting behind. Rank 1's Marcus Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Capello in the 18th minute of play. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Pååk, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Pååk came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Hagström came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Trip's Bruno Capello. But to his dismay, Bruno Capello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Pååk in the 28th minute of the match. A hard shot by Teodoro Munhoz from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Marcus Hagström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bruno Capello might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Hagström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Capello ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcus Hagström made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Bruno Capello sent off a good shot on target. After 39 played minutes Rank 1 got a freekick which was hit by Felix Curtis. Marcus Hagström made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Bruno Capello sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute Los Trip were awarded a corner. CJ Asensio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Los Trip's CJ Asensio to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus Hagström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stefan Pååk made a kick off. Rank 1's Marcus Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Capello in the 51st minute of play. If Bruno Capello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rank 1's zone, Bruno Capello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Hagström came out of the goal and Bruno Capello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Los Trip's Agustín Rossi got control of the ball when John Bogren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcus Hagström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Bogren. Los Trip made a substitution. Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca replaced Bruno Capello. Arsenio Perutxo charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Perutxo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Agustín Rossi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fredric Åhman. In the 83rd match minute, Los Trip was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Peres to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Pååk. In the 86th minute, Ulf Ros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Hagström prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Trip fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rank 1 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
