The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alessio Borrelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihai Domuță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessio Borrelli ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță got control of the ball when Alessio Borrelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 5 minutes, Alessio Borrelli made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Danilo Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Alessio Borrelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihai Domuță was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 14th minute, Alessio Borrelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Alessio Borrelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Mihai Domuță was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save POLI TIMISOARA from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, POLI TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Mihai Domuță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessio Borrelli. If Alessio Borrelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelito Pajazo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Mihai Domuță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Borrelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessio Borrelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mihai Domuță didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessio Borrelli went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Alessio Borrelli made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Alessio Borrelli made a precise shot to the right of Mihai Domuță. POLI TIMISOARA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Quebracho FC's Alexander Van Houdtvinck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mei Yi Xi in the 60th minute of play. POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Borrelli in the 61st minute of play. Alessio Borrelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihai Domuță read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Quebracho FC booed when POLI TIMISOARA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Harbuz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quebracho FC's Nereo Florian was substituted for Wouter De Brouwer. Quebracho FC's Nicanor Flores was substituted for German Liher. POLI TIMISOARA made a substitution. Jarbas Prestes replaced Mei Yi Xi. In the 65th minute, Cosmin Harbuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihai Domuță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Yi Yuan in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Filip Buculeasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers He Yi Yuan in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihai Domuță saved POLI TIMISOARA from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Nicanor Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quebracho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Flores was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihai Domuță breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Van Houdtvinck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarbas Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihai Domuță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of He Yi Yuan's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Quebracho FC's Yin Hong Fan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mihai Domuță in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 80th minute Nicanor Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Domuță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Buculeasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Alexander Van Houdtvinck made a huge save. Alexander Van Houdtvinck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Prestes in the 84th minute of play. Quebracho FC's Alexander Van Houdtvinck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas Prestes in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, POLI TIMISOARA's goal looked a bit too open when He Yi Yuan came free, but Mihai Domuță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Quebracho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yin Hong Fan to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute of the match Filip Buculeasa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexander Van Houdtvinck skillfully saved the ball.

For all the effort they put into the match, the POLI TIMISOARA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Quebracho FC.
