The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wiktor Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rey Ronaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Yu Quan Di managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luganeros AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yu Quan Di was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiktor Ekström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Porfiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victor Anselius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Gabriel Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Michalski in the 17th minute of play. Remigiusz Winszman hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The long shot by Alf-Inge Sørum in the 45th minute really tested Gabriel Porfiro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Wiktor Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rey Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luganeros AFC's Ricardo Oinaz was substituted for Janusz Ziemniak. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakub Michalski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 67th minute of the game Petri Romeu made a throw-in which Sebastian Biörling played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Vázquez in the 80th minute of play forced Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Wiktor Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertil Strandberg hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Rickard Vallander was substituted for Stig Bäckman. In the 82nd minute, Bertil Strandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Porfiro came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Åsbro Flåsegutter's Örjan Björk. But to his dismay, Örjan Björk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.

Åsbro Flåsegutter's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
