An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthieu Richardot in the 10th minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wellington Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidiu Poenaru got free with Candido Piedra in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to DJK Füchtel Vechta getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mauro Galvão hit a great ball. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Visen Allu in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Altermundi FC booed when DJK Füchtel Vechta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthieu Richardot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Visen Allu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerold Zollt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidiu Poenaru's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Candido Piedra firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Ovidiu Poenaru, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Candido Piedra was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidiu Poenaru. Visen Allu might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerold Zollt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Visen Allu ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerold Zollt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Visen Allu in the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Visen Allu in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerold Zollt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 46 minutes, Visen Allu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in DJK Füchtel Vechta's zone, Visen Allu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerold Zollt came out of the goal and Visen Allu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerold Zollt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Visen Allu in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Jude Hylton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candido Piedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthieu Richardot in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Poenaru in the 64th minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerold Zollt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Visen Allu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerold Zollt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Visen Allu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Matthieu Richardot kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, DJK Füchtel Vechta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthieu Richardot to maneuver through the defense. Altermundi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Reyes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerónimo Molinas short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Gerold Zollt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to DJK Füchtel Vechta getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Mauro Galvão hit a great ball.
