When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Fabien Canu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ruy Montenegro to make any attempt to save it. Gernando Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Gernando Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Cedric Van Langhendoncx. Lunar Park's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 41st minute, Gustavo Scarpa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gernando Azevedo to make the kick off. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Hayrullah Özgun was substituted for Gustavo Scarpa. Amadeu do Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a huge save. Hayrullah Özgun hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu do Nascimento in the 75th minute of play. Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Amadeu do Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Azevedo in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cedric Van Langhendoncx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lunar Park's Cedric Van Langhendoncx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Lunar Park from getting a goal against them. Lunar Park's Yazid Larnicol managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stefan Stenquist in the 82 minute of the game. If Fabien Canu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Canu in the 83rd minute of play. Ruy Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Canu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Lunar Park were awarded a corner. Carlos Taillade went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Lunar Park's corner Yazid Larnicol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruy Montenegro quite easily take care of the ball. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Luís Paulo do Nascimento with Gernando Azevedo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Amadeu do Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, Lunar Park's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Azevedo came free, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The Lunar Park support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
