Waud De Geyter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Alfredo Aguilar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damazy Radzyminski in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Aguilar saved Club Olimpia from getting behind. Alfredo Aguilar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 14th minute. Alfredo Aguilar came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Silver Squad AFC's Loid De Keuster. But to his dismay, Loid De Keuster quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Alfredo Aguilar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Carberry. A collision led to Silver Squad AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Henrik Ooms hit a great ball. Alfredo Aguilar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loid De Keuster went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Van Caubergen in the 28th minute of play forced Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Alfredo Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Aguilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Van Caubergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Gora in the 31st minute of play. Alfredo Aguilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 39th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roque Gora stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61stth minute of the game Frans Van Caubergen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pan Xi De fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waud De Geyter having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Carberry came free, but Alfredo Aguilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Club Olimpia's Waud De Geyter threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roque Gora, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 72 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Radzyminski came free, but Alfredo Aguilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Cardozo. Alfredo Aguilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Van Caubergen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79thth minute of the game Fernando Cardozo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute Damazy Radzyminski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Aguilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Silver Squad AFC defense, Fernando Cardozo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waud De Geyter. The Silver Squad AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waud De Geyter should have stopped the shot. Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 95th minute of play. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 2-2. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Silver Squad AFC's Benjamin Carberry started the play with his kick off. In the 100th minute Damazy Radzyminski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Aguilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 103 minutes, Benjamin Carberry took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Alfredo Aguilar to make any attempt to save it.
