It was a well-played corner which Pawel Karanowski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damazy Polek got free with Rıza Vuralhan in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rıza Vuralhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damazy Polek in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Polek in the 17th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Asklöv kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Strömsbro IF's Emil Billing managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Borys Dzerwucki in the 22 minute of the game. Jaroslaw Siedlecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Papapetrou, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Damazy Polek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rıza Vuralhan was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 34th minute Argyris Papapetrou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Siedlecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damazy Polek to make the kick off. Argyris Papapetrou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaroslaw Siedlecki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Borys Dzerwucki tried in the 56th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Jaroslaw Siedlecki a with quite unnecessary self made goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Damazy Polek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Mao Jun Yun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 1-1. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Charlie Beck made the kick off and play began. 101 minutes into the game, Argyris Papapetrou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jaroslaw Siedlecki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Strömsbro IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
