The goalkeeper, César Boldrini, was totally fooled by Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Morgan Möllgren, who 9 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 12 played minutes Vila Industrial FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Vianna. Jim Njurenius, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Vila Industrial FC's Dorian Valladares in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vila Industrial FC's César Boldrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Elg in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Valladares came free, but Eric Soned reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlo Ancelotti got free with César Boldrini in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Dorian Valladares made a precise shot to the right of Eric Soned. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Roberto Cibran's late challenge caught a Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Cibran helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vila Industrial FC! César Boldrini had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Morgan Möllgren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper César Boldrini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nickolai Nickerson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timmy Zander during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlo Ancelotti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Valladares came free, but Eric Soned reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorian Valladares to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Vila Industrial FC defense, Nickolai Nickerson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Boldrini. The Vila Industrial FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Boldrini should have stopped the shot. César Boldrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nickolai Nickerson in the 95th minute of play.
When the referee ended the match the Étoile Sportive Du Sahel players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
