In the 4th minute, Martin Rana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, FC aDeX's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rostholm came free, but Matei Oltean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Rene Rostholm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC aDeX's Matei Oltean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute Rene Rostholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Oltean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC aDeX's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodrigo Tome was slow to take the kick. During this time Randers A.F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After 23 played minutes FC aDeX got a freekick which was hit by Franck Tkint. Matei Oltean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Rostholm in the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Rostholm in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matei Oltean saved FC aDeX from getting behind. Léo Barros made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rene Rostholm however managed to control. FC aDeX's Matei Oltean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Rostholm in the 34th minute of play. The throw-in from Franck Tkint in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Randers A.F.C.'s Léo Barros. 38 minutes into the match, FC aDeX's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rostholm came free, but Matei Oltean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC aDeX's attentive Xesus Barrieta managed to snatch the ball when Léo Barros made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Grönlund during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC aDeX booed when Randers A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Børge Buhr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Rana to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Neymar in the 51st minute of play forced Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Nichlas Vesterdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC aDeX booed when Randers A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radim Gola didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Rene Rostholm notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC aDeX's Matei Oltean. Matei Oltean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Randers A.F.C.'s Nichlas Vesterdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Rana in the 64th minute of play. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Chinezu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Rostholm in the 69th minute of play forced FC aDeX's goalkeeper Matei Oltean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Oltean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Rostholm in the 73rd minute. Nichlas Vesterdahl came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by FC aDeX's Xesus Barrieta. But to his dismay, Xesus Barrieta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 78th minute Cristinel Chinezu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichlas Vesterdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Neymar came free, but Nichlas Vesterdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, FC aDeX's goalkeeper Matei Oltean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grisha Mbappè. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC aDeX's goalkeeper Matei Oltean, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC aDeX's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodrigo Tome was slow to take the kick. During this time Randers A.F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Børge Buhr almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC aDeX's Matei Oltean did a great save.

The FC aDeX supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Randers A.F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Randers A.F.C..
