The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes of play, Freestylers's Leo Pietro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anastasio Eguerdi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Freestylers's Yuan Lei Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Lapurdi in the 9th minute of play. Anastasio Eguerdi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Pietro in the 11th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Leo Pietro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anastasio Eguerdi. Leo Pietro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Anastasio Eguerdi was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Leo Pietro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leo Pietro really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When Leo Pietro came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Freestylers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Pietro couldn't finish the play. Leo Pietro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anastasio Eguerdi came out and tried to block the shot, but Leo Pietro slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Büssinger in the 26th minute of play forced DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Anastasio Eguerdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthias Büssinger in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Eguerdi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Björn Lachenicht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute Nicolas Demario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuan Lei Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Freestylers's Leo Pietro made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anastasio Eguerdi was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esquipula Bouzon was the one to do the kick off. When Freestylers's Leo Pietro in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalie prevented a goal. In the 54th minute Freestylers were awarded a corner. Musa Bardakçı went to the cornerflag to take it. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Nicolas Demario suffered a sore knee after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 58th match minute, Freestylers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umut Uluşahin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of DeportivoIndependienteMDP booed when Freestylers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umut Uluşahin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, German Evarado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Büssinger in the 65th minute of play forced DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Anastasio Eguerdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, Freestylers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Musa Bardakçı to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Freestylers getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Musa Bardakçı hit a great ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Anastasio Eguerdi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute, German Evarado made a precise shot to the right of Anastasio Eguerdi. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 82 minutes into the game, Freestylers's German Evarado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anastasio Eguerdi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After some careless play in the Freestylers defense, Nicolas Demario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yuan Lei Jing. The Freestylers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yuan Lei Jing should have stopped the shot. When Freestylers's German Evarado in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalie prevented a goal. German Evarado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute German Evarado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Eguerdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, German Evarado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Anastasio Eguerdi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. DeportivoIndependienteMDP made a substitution. Santiago Roano replaced Bernardino Abel.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Freestylers fans cheered their team off the field, for while DeportivoIndependienteMDP had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
