The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Guido Olentzaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Santirso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Guido Olentzaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Beto Santirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Grütly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Marin to maneuver through the defense. Epifanio Boniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feijo Freire's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Zdeněk Šebestík made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Feijo Freire immediately put the ball in play. 94 minutes into the match, Grütly's goal looked a bit too open when Feijo Freire came free, but Epifanio Boniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Golden Tigers's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
