Spectators: 571 (Terracing: 429, Seating: 131, VIP seats: 11) Johnathan Bowden started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rdth minute of the game Aitor Branca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Selebi-Phikwe's Christof Deroek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Selebi-Phikwe's zone, Aitor Branca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christof Deroek came out of the goal and Aitor Branca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christof Deroek came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Dolar Blue Ψ's Aitor Branca. But to his dismay, Aitor Branca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Aitor Branca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christof Deroek. Selebi-Phikwe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aitor Branca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aitor Branca in the 18th minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Christof Deroek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Dolar Blue Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Johnathan Bowden came free, but Javier Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Aitor Branca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dolar Blue Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Aitor Branca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christof Deroek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute Aitor Branca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christof Deroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aitor Branca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christof Deroek having to make a save. Christof Deroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aitor Branca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Selebi-Phikwe defense, Aitor Branca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christof Deroek. The Selebi-Phikwe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christof Deroek should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the game, Aitor Branca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Christof Deroek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Javier Perpiñán made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Johnathan Bowden sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Dolar Blue Ψ were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute Aitor Branca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christof Deroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnathan Bowden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Javier Perpiñán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aitor Branca in the 58th minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Christof Deroek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Perpiñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathan Bowden, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dolar Blue Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Johnathan Bowden was slow to take the kick. During this time Selebi-Phikwe's players had a chance to rest. Selebi-Phikwe's Johnathan Bowden was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Javier Perpiñán in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Federico Gattoni tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Javier Perpiñán. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-5 in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aitor Branca in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christof Deroek saved Selebi-Phikwe from getting behind. When Aitor Branca came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Dolar Blue Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aitor Branca couldn't finish the play. Christof Deroek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Chano in the 69th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Chano came free, but Christof Deroek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Arnulfo Chano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christof Deroek was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Johnathan Bowden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Perpiñán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Arnulfo Chano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Selebi-Phikwe's Christof Deroek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christof Deroek had great luck who in the 89thth minute grab hold of the ball when Arnulfo Chano from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Chano in the 94th minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Christof Deroek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The Dolar Blue Ψ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dolar Blue Ψ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
