Marian Gniech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Bekos in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Uluç Tekinalp came free, but Dimitris Vasilakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Vasilakos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute of the match Zagórna got a corner. Trifillia.FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The Zagórna supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zagórna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
