Simon Kjær's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bolo Skjold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Okanalp Çağman was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Petter Skarkman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Petter Skarkman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Bolo Skjold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğuhan Serbülend in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Doğuhan Serbülend notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold. Bolo Skjold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Doğuhan Serbülend fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bolo Skjold having to interfere. Fear Of The Dark's Okanalp Çağman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Fear Of The Dark from getting a goal against them. In the 44th match minute, Fear Of The Dark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignat Mankov to maneuver through the defense. Okanalp Çağman made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Michael Näver sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes in the game Karlo Brčić did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ignat Mankov. Karlo Brčić charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karlo Brčić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karlo Brčić kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakob Lundin in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Okanalp Çağman saved Fear Of The Dark from getting behind. Protegéerna were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Fear Of The Dark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michael Näver took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Michael Näver got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Okanalp Çağman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fear Of The Dark's Güngör İşkembeci was substituted for Ignat Mankov. In the 61st minute of the match Protegéerna got a corner. Fear Of The Dark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michael Näver ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Fernando Arango got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Okanalp Çağman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 64 minutes into the match, Fear Of The Dark's goal looked a bit too open when Arman Lingren came free, but Okanalp Çağman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fear Of The Dark's Doğuhan Serbülend got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 minutes of play, Fear Of The Dark's Doğuhan Serbülend made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bolo Skjold was left in no man's land by his defense there! Protegéerna's Christer Nyberg was substituted for Fernando Arango. Fear Of The Dark made a substitution. Bayan Gol replaced Doğuhan Serbülend. Güngör İşkembeci charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Güngör İşkembeci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Protegéerna made a substitution. Agne Hedström replaced Christer Nyberg. In the 77th match minute, Fear Of The Dark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güngör İşkembeci to maneuver through the defense. Okanalp Çağman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petter Skarkman's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Okanalp Çağman didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Fear Of The Dark's Okanalp Çağman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Python in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th minute Guido Python shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okanalp Çağman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute Ulrik Söderlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okanalp Çağman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güngör İşkembeci was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Protegéerna booed when Fear Of The Dark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güngör İşkembeci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Guido Python notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Fear Of The Dark's Okanalp Çağman. Okanalp Çağman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agne Hedström struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Okanalp Çağman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Protegéerna.

Fear Of The Dark's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
