An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Cala in the 5th minute of play forced PHOENIX SC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Hendrickx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaw Nowak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Gustaw Nowak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samai Asmawan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PHOENIX SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Phoenix Kante in the 19th minute. After 19 played minutes PHOENIX SC got a freekick which was hit by Lilcho Ilchov. In the 21st match minute, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Domamir to maneuver through the defense. Ray Clemence made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tristan Lannister in the 23rd minute. Lilcho Ilchov hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Zbyszek Le Bonniec made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustaw Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samai Asmawan in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Hendrickx came free, but Gustaw Nowak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ray Clemence made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 40th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Felix Blas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PHOENIX SC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samai Asmawan in the 46th minute of play forced Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samai Asmawan was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy were awarded a corner. Ciccio Kowalczyk went to the cornerflag to take it. Gustaw Nowak made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Samai Asmawan sent off a good shot on target. Samai Asmawan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustaw Nowak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Hendrickx in the 63rd minute of the match. Ray Clemence came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Walery Bienienda. But to his dismay, Walery Bienienda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 71 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samai Asmawan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Hendrickx in the 72nd minute of play forced Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Hendrickx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaw Nowak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Zbyszek Le Bonniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaw Nowak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Hendrickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Gustaw Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Hendrickx in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samai Asmawan. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy made a substitution. Rafal Ludwiczak replaced Wawrzyniec Domamir. A sloppy throw-in by José Pedro Dracena in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PHOENIX SC's Wilson Seco. Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Lannister in the 94th minute of the match. PHOENIX SC's Frederico Hendrickx got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

For all the effort they put into the match, the PHOENIX SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy.
