Justino Amato made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's Cabbar Müfit. The throw-in from Justino Amato in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's Cabbar Müfit. After 42 played minutes Ruzgar Gibi Geçti got a freekick which was hit by Kaptan Tevfik. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Ruzgar Gibi Geçti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Hornos:s goal. Ghitã Butuc shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dário Prada was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute of the game Gerardo Joseph made a throw-in which Dário Prada played forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Prada in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sikstas Ferdi saved Ruzgar Gibi Geçti from getting behind. After 65 played minutes Ruzgar Gibi Geçti got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Corocăescu. Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's Sikstas Ferdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Prada in the 79th minute of play. Sikstas Ferdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Prada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kaptan Tevfik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Marcu Şuteu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's Kaptan Tevfik got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Los Hornos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
