The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Franco Armani made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Leopoldo Rosa sent off a good shot on target. Victoriano Bernaldo came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel. But to his dismay, Gürsel Aksel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Budarz in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Gürsel Aksel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Victoriano Bernaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Franco Armani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Rosa in the 21st minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Borys Budarz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victoriano Bernaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gürsel Aksel's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes Basmane Texas got a freekick which was hit by Serkan Kocaman. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wei Li in the 33rd minute of the match. Franco Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Tufescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Gürsel Aksel made a precise shot to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gürsel Aksel in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Bernaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gürsel Aksel in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Bernaldo saved Dep Colonia Avellaneda from getting behind. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Borys Budarz was slow to take the kick. During this time Basmane Texas's players had a chance to rest. Basmane Texas's Borys Budarz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half Basmane Texas were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Dep Colonia Avellaneda from getting a goal against them. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Budarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gürsel Aksel got free with Victoriano Bernaldo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gürsel Aksel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darryl Buckner in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Dep Colonia Avellaneda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wei Li to maneuver through the defense. Basmane Texas's Risto Luite was substituted for Liviu Marinescu. 70 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Rosa came free, but Franco Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Rosa in the 72nd minute of the match. When Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Basmane Texas's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victoriano Bernaldo. That made the score 0-5 after 75 minutes of play. In the 78th minute, Gürsel Aksel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Gürsel Aksel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victoriano Bernaldo. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victoriano Bernaldo had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Gürsel Aksel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 96 minutes into the game, Gürsel Aksel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victoriano Bernaldo. Gürsel Aksel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7.

When the final whistle went the supporters of Basmane Texas were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Dep Colonia Avellaneda side.
