The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Alsua was the one to do the kick off. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Dida Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wessel Bos in the 57th minute of play. The corner was taken by Mariusz Kaleta in the 91st minute. 95 minutes in the game Célio Hoffmann did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Albertinho Cavalcante. The score was 2-2 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Gotfryd got free with Dida Gröhe in the 100th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 103rd minute, when Wessel Bos scored to the left of an out of position Dida Gröhe, making the score, 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KN ZGORZELEC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
