The supporters of KAOS booed when Club A. Chipa y Tereré was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Inge didn't get a good kick on the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, KAOS's Xie Chao Cheng threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Shota Arveladze, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leonides Velasco scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Duro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. KAOS's German Lop was substituted for Shota Arveladze. The KAOS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club A. Chipa y Tereré were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicanor Uzuri made a kick off. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club A. Chipa y Tereré players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KAOS.
