The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kajetan Dawiec came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by October 04's Emilio Cascajares. But to his dismay, Emilio Cascajares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, October 04's Eskil Vester got control of the ball when Sverker Danielsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 14 in the game by Sverker Danielsson from a close distance when the talented Eskil Vester managed to make a qualified save. October 04's players were relieved. A sloppy throw-in by Stavros Bantis in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Wrocanka's Tomasz Jarosz. Sverker Danielsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eskil Vester read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Sverker Danielsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eskil Vester. Sverker Danielsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Emilio Cascajares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kajetan Dawiec was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Cascajares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sverker Danielsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eskil Vester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sverker Danielsson ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Danielsson came free, but Eskil Vester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, FC Wrocanka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziemowit Wyrostek to maneuver through the defense. When Fellipe Valle came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the October 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fellipe Valle couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Danielsson in the 85th minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Eskil Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Mellin hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Wrocanka getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Wieslaw Cichowski hit a great ball. FC Wrocanka's Sverker Danielsson got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, October 04's Stavros Bantis got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 2-2. Extra-time would have to be played.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. FC Wrocanka's Sverker Danielsson started the play with the initial kick off. In the 105th minute Sverker Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sverker Danielsson got free with Eskil Vester in the 110th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Sverker Danielsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but October 04's Eskil Vester did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Pernambucano in the 114th minute of play forced FC Wrocanka's goalkeeper Kajetan Dawiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Luís Paulo Pernambucano to make the kick off. Ziemowit Wyrostek kicked well hit freekick during the 127th minute of the match. In the 129th minute, October 04's Emilio Cascajares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. October 04 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
