Gino Galante scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Márton Kónya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Csabrendek Zombies's Amerigo Costanzo in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Csabrendek Zombies's Gáspár Varsányi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jan-Åke Emander in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 36th minute, Cristiano Quercia made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Åke Emander. The Owls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Jan-Åke Emander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Costanzo in the 42nd minute of the match. When Csabrendek Zombies's Gösta Giliusson in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Owls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gino Galante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Costanzo in the 66th minute of play forced The Owls's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Emander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gino Galante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Márton Kónya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. If Gino Galante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Owls's supporters rose to their feet, but William Creemers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márton Kónya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
