With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Lekberg in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joacim First saved Pinhote FC from getting behind. Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Siöberg in the 30th minute of play. Kim Lekberg scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joacim First, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Kim Lekberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joacim First. That made the score 3-2 in the 70 minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joacim First prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joacim First stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kim Lekberg's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Savage Hippo's Kim Lekberg that got to make the kick off. In the 99th minute, Kim Lekberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joacim First was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The Pinhote FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Savage Hippo's performance. The match ended with a win for Savage Hippo.
