Spectators: 531 (Terracing: 399, Seating: 122, VIP seats: 10) Kjell Åkesson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Porvoon Futura's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Basten came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Wallander came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Porvoon Futura's Co Vid. But to his dismay, Co Vid quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Big Fart hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Kjell Åkesson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Porvoon Futura's Francesco Toldo. Francesco Toldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, Christodoulos Kyriakidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francesco Toldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Francesco Toldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavian Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Porvoon Futura's Big Fart managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mihăiţă Vâtcu in the 28 minute of the game. JKs Talanger's Kjell Åkesson got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Co Vid got free with Walter Wallander in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Åkesson in the 35th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Porvoon Futura got a freekick which was hit by Big Fart. 39 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's Octavian Basten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francesco Toldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Porvoon Futura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seppo Jokela to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Christodoulos Kyriakidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JKs Talanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christodoulos Kyriakidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, JKs Talanger's Walter Wallander got control of the ball when Co Vid tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jari Litmanen kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Christodoulos Kyriakidis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Porvoon Futura's Francesco Toldo didn't even have to move.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Co Vid made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Co Vid made a precise shot to the right of Walter Wallander. JKs Talanger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 55 minutes into the match, Porvoon Futura's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivar Askelöf. JKs Talanger's Kent Möller was substituted for Gunther Zapf. JKs Talanger's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christodoulos Kyriakidis in the 58th minute. A collision led to JKs Talanger getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mihăiţă Vâtcu hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Ivar Askelöf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 71 in the game by Gösta Granberg from a close distance when the talented Francesco Toldo managed to make a qualified save. Porvoon Futura's players were relieved. In the 72nd minute Gösta Granberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Big Fart kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Porvoon Futura's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gösta Granberg. A collision led to Porvoon Futura getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Big Fart hit a great ball. Porvoon Futura's Vladimir Haritonov was substituted for Kol Miot. In the 78th minute, Big Fart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81stth minute of the game Co Vid who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JKs Talanger's Walter Wallander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of JKs Talanger booed when Porvoon Futura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. King Cock didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gösta Granberg got free with Francesco Toldo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Porvoon Futura's Paavo Hirvonen got a free kick in the 89th minute. Edgar Davids hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Francesco Toldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Granberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Porvoon Futura's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gösta Granberg. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. JKs Talanger's Gösta Granberg started the play with the initial kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Granberg in the 101st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Toldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Co Vid took the ball and in the 103 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Wallander. Walter Wallander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. JKs Talanger's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
