Demis Grigoriadis was slow to take the kick. During this time RO Army V55's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Red Devils's goalie and right to Vinícius Junior. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Red Devils's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Alexandros Iordanidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel da Rocha in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Red Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotos Zervoulakos to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olcay Bozkurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, RO Army V55's Adrian Bumbescu got a free kick in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotos Zervoulakos in the 25th minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Alexandros Iordanidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandros Iordanidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 34th match minute, RO Army V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanasis Kolevas to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olcay Bozkurt in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel da Rocha came free, but Alexandros Iordanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Red Devils's Alexandros Iordanidis threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcel da Rocha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olcay Bozkurt to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot got control of the ball when Vinícius Junior tried to sneak it across the goal line. Braulio Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olcay Bozkurt in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57th minute, RO Army V55's Olcay Bozkurt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Braulio Gartxot made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Vinícius Junior sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute Marcel da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Iordanidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinícius Junior could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Braulio Gartxot made a huge save. After 74 played minutes RO Army V55 got a freekick which was hit by Thanasis Kolevas. Red Devils's Kazimierz Deyna was substituted for Radoslaw Solibieda. Marcel da Rocha scored 1-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandros Iordanidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. RO Army V55's Edgardo Ugutz was substituted for Olcay Bozkurt. RO Army V55 made a substitution. Donnie Echols replaced Nestoras Karabidakis. After 83 played minutes RO Army V55 got a freekick which was hit by Thanasis Kolevas. If Simone Spano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. RO Army V55's Alexandros Iordanidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 91st minute of play. After 95 played minutes RO Army V55 got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Cupșa. After 95 played minutes, Red Devils's Sotos Zervoulakos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandros Iordanidis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Red Devils reached it. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 1-1. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Marcel da Rocha in Red Devils was the one to initiate the kick off. In the 101st minute, Marcel da Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Alexandros Iordanidis. RO Army V55's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
