The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Saul Roman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Krawczyk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Michael Krawczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Almkvist in the 15th minute of play. Giorgio March took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gao Wei Fei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Goral Zywiec's Gao Wei Fei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giorgio March made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 25th minute, Christian Almkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Krawczyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Goral Zywiec's Michael Krawczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Abascal in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Goral Zywiec's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Abascal came free, but Michael Krawczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca De La Torre in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giorgio March prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Krawczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Almkvist in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Roman in the 40th minute of play forced Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Roman took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Krawczyk. Michael Krawczyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The supporters of C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 booed when Goral Zywiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Ewertowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Lopez de Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Gao Wei Fei took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giorgio March. Giorgio March dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Almkvist to make the kick off. Waldemar Kazczyk made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jaroslaw Garusov however managed to control. Goral Zywiec's Gao Wei Fei got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Saul Roman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Michael Krawczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Abascal in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Montay Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 made a substitution. Victor Unesson replaced Alvar Llinares. In the 71st minute, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Christian Almkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. A sloppy throw-in by Montay Pena in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Goral Zywiec's Waldemar Kazczyk. When Ralf Allgöwer fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's protests and gave Ralf Allgöwer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Allgöwer to maneuver through the defense. The C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
