Matthias Zahn might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Krawczyk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matthias Zahn ran back to his position shaking his head. Matthias Zahn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Krawczyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Gao Wei Fei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Gao Wei Fei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goral Zywiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Gao Wei Fei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Erbler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Goral Zywiec were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after FC Angst vorm Ball's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfred Ewertowski took the corner. In the 13th minute Gao Wei Fei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Erbler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, FC Angst vorm Ball's goal looked a bit too open when Gao Wei Fei came free, but Robin Erbler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hartmut Hägele during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Angst vorm Ball getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Hartmut Hägele hit a great ball. When FC Angst vorm Ball's Joachim Krabbe in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goral Zywiec's goalie prevented a goal. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Goral Zywiec's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julius-Lasse Schwering was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Angst vorm Ball's players had a chance to rest. Jan-Hauke Lewe hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Robin Erbler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gao Wei Fei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Krawczyk made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Joachim Krabbe sent off a good shot on target. Robin Erbler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Jajecznica in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gao Wei Fei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin Erbler was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When Marko Köller came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC Angst vorm Ball fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marko Köller couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Robin Erbler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Jajecznica, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Jajecznica in the 61st minute of play forced FC Angst vorm Ball's goalkeeper Robin Erbler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Krawczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Krabbe in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Goral Zywiec! In the 66th minute there was a penalty for FC Angst vorm Ball. Matthias Zahn stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Michael Krawczyk. 1-0. Goral Zywiec made a substitution. Jaroslaw Garusov replaced Zula Nowacki. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Köller in the 70th minute of play forced Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, FC Angst vorm Ball's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Abechuco came free, but Robin Erbler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Matthias Zahn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goral Zywiec's Michael Krawczyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matthias Zahn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Krawczyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Abechuco in the 89th minute of play forced FC Angst vorm Ball's goalkeeper Robin Erbler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Krawczyk came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Angst vorm Ball's Matthias Zahn. But to his dismay, Matthias Zahn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Robin Erbler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fariz Nair in the 97th minute.
