If Victor Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Gómez hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Torbjørn Trondsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ismael Gimenez made a huge save. Aziz Akarsu scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Betinho Moura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Deportivo Mukenio's Ismael Gimenez got control of the ball when Torbjørn Trondsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Radomil Prusinowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aziz Akarsu in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Betinho Moura saved C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. from getting behind. Betinho Moura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aziz Akarsu's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Akarsu in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Deportivo Mukenio defense, Torbjørn Trondsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Gimenez. The Deportivo Mukenio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Gimenez should have stopped the shot. Betinho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Buciuceanu in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mukenio's Jairo Aurre got a free kick in the 45th minute.

After 53 played minutes C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sid Lampard. The audience was convinced that Aziz Akarsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betinho Moura was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Betinho Moura made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Aziz Akarsu sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute Aziz Akarsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes in the game Léo Alagoano did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carlos Fernando Abraão. 65 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mukenio's Aziz Akarsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Betinho Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Mario Hever almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura did a great save. Aziz Akarsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Betinho Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aziz Akarsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betinho Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura got control of the ball when Aziz Akarsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Aziz Akarsu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betinho Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Mircea Buciuceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Mukenio's supporters rose to their feet, but Mircea Buciuceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betinho Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo Mukenio's Aziz Akarsu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deportivo Mukenio played a much better game than C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. and deserved their victory. The C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
