Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Pieters got free with Emiliano Manfredi in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Manfredi stood somewhat misplaced when Waldemar Gierlach came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 4 minute. 7 minutes into the match, Halil Okaner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rouven Nussli. Champions Iasi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Halil Okaner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Champions Iasi's Rouven Nussli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halil Okaner in the 10th minute of play. Feliciano Echegoyen's late challenge caught a Champions Iasi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliciano Echegoyen helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Araucampeón Retirado got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Echegoyen. Emiliano Manfredi was a little too slow when Fabian Zăreanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-1. 22 minutes into the match, Araucampeón Retirado's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Gierlach came free, but Emiliano Manfredi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the game Eusebiu Crăciunaș made a throw-in which Fabian Zăreanu played forward. Emiliano Manfredi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Gierlach in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Araucampeón Retirado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Héctor Soffia to maneuver through the defense. Moisés Villarroel's late challenge caught a Champions Iasi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebiu Crăciunaș kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Araucampeón Retirado's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Ghiciușca came free, but Emiliano Manfredi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stefan Pieters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rouven Nussli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halil Okaner in the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Araucampeón Retirado's Feliciano Echegoyen got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Waldemar Gierlach made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Héctor Soffia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Halil Okaner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Rouven Nussli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Araucampeón Retirado's Emiliano Manfredi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Ghiciușca in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Araucampeón Retirado's Feliciano Echegoyen got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Moisés Villarroel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moisés Villarroel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rouven Nussli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Emiliano Manfredi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Zăreanu in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Araucampeón Retirado's Halil Okaner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rouven Nussli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emiliano Manfredi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Gierlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Halil Okaner in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rouven Nussli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Emiliano Manfredi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Pieters, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Halil Okaner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Rouven Nussli made a huge save. In the 86th minute Waldemar Gierlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Manfredi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Marian Ghiciușca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Champions Iasi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
