The Araucampeón Retirado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Araucampeón Retirado's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Palma came free, but Emiliano Manfredi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 72 minutes of play, La France FC's Fulvio Vittorio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Manfredi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juan Huerta made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Araucampeón Retirado's Héctor Soffia. Araucampeón Retirado's attentive Reginaldo Vasconcelos managed to snatch the ball when Juan Huerta made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. In the 89th minute Halil Okaner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
