In the 31st minute Marco Ruben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's goal looked a bit too open when Pranas Užkuraitis came free, but Ederono Vilardell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Sergi Ramos in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Batalhão do Peçanha's Barr Eira. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ruben in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ got a corner. Batalhão do Peçanha's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vitinho Madureira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Ruben was the one to do the kick off. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Ruben in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes Batalhão do Peçanha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vitinho Madureira who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Akis Lazariadis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Pranas Užkuraitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ederono Vilardell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pranas Užkuraitis in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ederono Vilardell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pranas Užkuraitis went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Ederono Vilardell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 63rd minute of play. Ederono Vilardell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pranas Užkuraitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Pranas Užkuraitis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalhão do Peçanha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Zézinho Coutinho hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 81 minutes, Vitinho Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ and the Batalhão do Peçanha players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Vitinho Madureira hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pranas Užkuraitis in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ederono Vilardell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Ruben in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petr Čech saved Batalhão do Peçanha from getting behind. After some careless play in the ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ defense, Pranas Užkuraitis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ederono Vilardell. The ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ederono Vilardell should have stopped the shot. After 88 played minutes Batalhão do Peçanha got a freekick which was hit by Barr Eira. In the 92nd match minute, Batalhão do Peçanha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pranas Užkuraitis to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes Batalhão do Peçanha got a freekick which was hit by Barr Eira.
