The ball went over the crossbar instead. 3 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Koča Kafarov. Koča Kafarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Petr Čech made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Arnaldo Tróia made a precise shot to the right of Lu Zhen Sheng. DREAM TEAM WORLD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 18 minutes, Koča Kafarov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DREAM TEAM WORLD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koča Kafarov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech got control of the ball when Koča Kafarov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petr Čech made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Koča Kafarov sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Koča Kafarov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Koča Kafarov got free with Petr Čech in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petr Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koča Kafarov in the 29th minute. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Batalhão do Peçanha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luiz Fabiano Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time DREAM TEAM WORLD's players had a chance to rest. DREAM TEAM WORLD were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Batalhão do Peçanha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Fabiano Castro took the corner. In the 34th minute, Barr Eira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The DREAM TEAM WORLD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Batalhão do Peçanha were winning 1-2.

58 minutes into the game, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Koča Kafarov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petr Čech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Barr Eira kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goal looked a bit too open when Koča Kafarov came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng got control of the ball when Pranas Užkuraitis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute Koča Kafarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goal looked a bit too open when Koča Kafarov came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Ştefan Grigore was substituted for Koča Kafarov. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Grigore in the 92nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ştefan Grigore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petr Čech was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Petr Čech came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by DREAM TEAM WORLD's Ştefan Grigore. But to his dismay, Ştefan Grigore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DREAM TEAM WORLD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Batalhão do Peçanha had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
