Hernan Lano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Lastur having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Norberto Liberato hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Quinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Wennerqvist was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Jeremias Cisco kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur got control of the ball when Hernan Lano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Leopoldo Lastur successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes Leones FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustavo Tartalo who took care of the corner kick. Leopoldo Lastur was a little too slow when Adrián Espadas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Adrián Espadas took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Lastur. Leopoldo Lastur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Martin Asier took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dan Wennerqvist. Dan Wennerqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Soroca F.C.'s Cosme Jaen was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. Zézinho Neiva made a great header on Soroca F.C.'s corner, it was just that Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur managed to reach the ball for a save. 66 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Necula came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Quinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Dan Wennerqvist made a huge save. Răzvan Necula took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Lastur. Leopoldo Lastur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Răzvan Necula might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Lastur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Răzvan Necula ran back to his position shaking his head. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Necula in the 86th minute of play. The corner led Soroca F.C.'s Cosme Jaen to fire away a dangerous shot which Leopoldo Lastur despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Soroca F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
