Mauro Romero was slow to take the kick. During this time Dr Lecter SC's players had a chance to rest. Celso Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enes Hezarfen in the 13th minute of play. Carsten Bastner kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Tayyar Sanih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 17th minute of play. Lüleburgazspor's Tayyar Sanih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 22nd minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Corneliu Dridu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lüleburgazspor's Tayyar Sanih. Tayyar Sanih was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tihomir Donevski kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayyar Sanih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Carsten Bastner threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dr Lecter SC's Tihomir Donevski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Corneliu Dridu came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Dr Lecter SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corneliu Dridu couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enes Hezarfen made a kick off. Tayyar Sanih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 53 played minutes Dr Lecter SC got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Dridu. If Enes Hezarfen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aşık Aytuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tayyar Sanih narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, Lüleburgazspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carsten Bastner to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Omid Kaulbach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tayyar Sanih. Lüleburgazspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omid Kaulbach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Celso Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enes Hezarfen in the 79th minute of play. Dr Lecter SC's Wanderson Fernandez was substituted for Omid Kaulbach. Dr Lecter SC were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Lüleburgazspor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauro Romero took the corner. Dr Lecter SC's Mauro Romero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tayyar Sanih in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tayyar Sanih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Bektaş Altıparmak put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Lüleburgazspor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dr Lecter SC:s goal. Lüleburgazspor:s Tayyar Sanih showed great skill when he stopped Corneliu Dridu:s penalty. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dr Lecter SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lüleburgazspor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
