Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Brugge United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaspar Van Den Broeck in the 5th minute. The corner ended in Jaspar Van Den Broeck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Aurel Crivoi did a great save. Guido Vissenaeken who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Aurel Crivoi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Uter came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK were furious when Mike Tyson was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK! Aurel Crivoi had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Jaspar Van Den Broeck's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Ümit Karan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brugge United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ümit Karan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Hugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Guido Vissenaeken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurel Crivoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaspar Van Den Broeck who took care of the corner kick. Aurel Crivoi had great luck who in the 28thth minute grab hold of the ball when Laurențiu Roşculeţ from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Guido Vissenaeken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Aurel Crivoi made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Michnik in the 33rd minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Brugge United got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Pietrowicz. In the 36th minute Hector Hugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Hector Hugo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vítor Baia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Bernt Offendahl was substituted for Alfred Mossberg. After a defensive mix-up in Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's zone, Guido Vissenaeken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurel Crivoi came out of the goal and Guido Vissenaeken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute Hector Hugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edwin Uter made a kick off. Aurel Crivoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 53rd minute of play. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Uter, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts was substituted for Jaspar Van Den Broeck. Vítor Baia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Máté Gulyás in the 62nd minute.
