Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reinaldo Briceño took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cain Vieri got free with Santio Marco in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute Garin Candina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frits Heinel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinnie Jones hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Briceño in the 10th minute of play forced Palestra14's goalkeeper Frits Heinel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frits Heinel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Horduña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Cain Vieri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestra14 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Frits Heinel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garin Candina, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Santio Marco was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Cain Vieri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cain Vieri really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Palestra14's Frits Heinel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Horduña in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Reinaldo Briceño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frits Heinel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Briceño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frits Heinel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Frits Heinel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinaldo Briceño went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 43 minutes, Attilio Torelli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palestra14 and the AFC Viola Gigliati players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santio Marco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Fioriti in the 48th minute of the match.

In the 52nd minute, Cain Vieri made a precise shot to the right of Santio Marco. AFC Viola Gigliati's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Garin Candina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Frits Heinel made a huge save. When Vinnie Jones fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra14's protests and gave Vinnie Jones a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Vinnie Jones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Attilio Torelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santio Marco. AFC Viola Gigliati's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Attilio Torelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Frits Heinel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garin Candina in the 72nd minute. Cain Vieri scored 6-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santio Marco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Gianluigi Lentini in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AFC Viola Gigliati's Samuel Horduña. In the 86th match minute, Palestra14 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nino Sócrates to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Horduña shot from long distance after 86 played minutes, a shot that Frits Heinel with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. In the 89th minute Attilio Torelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santio Marco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cain Vieri in the 93rd minute of play forced AFC Viola Gigliati's goalkeeper Santio Marco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AFC Viola Gigliati's Guillermo Barzana got a free kick in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Palestra14 had won after a very even match.
