In the 20th minute Stig-Åke Wall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Ruttens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Gnaget AIK defense, Justus Lintorf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Kjellman. The Gnaget AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Kjellman should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Åke Wall in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jannes Ruttens saved C. A. Pipon Pipon from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicky Bryson in the 25th minute of play forced Gnaget AIK's goalkeeper Viktor Kjellman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jannes Ruttens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Dahlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gnaget AIK's Viktor Kjellman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al Whatley in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Nicky Bryson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gnaget AIK's Viktor Kjellman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan-Ove Dahlman hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Herbert Lång sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th match minute, Gnaget AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Stål to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute of the match Al Whatley sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viktor Kjellman skillfully saved the ball. Bozhin Bishkarov kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Gnaget AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu Gos to maneuver through the defense. Gnaget AIK's Viktor Kjellman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Bryson in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Urbano Roldanillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gnaget AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Roldanillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jannes Ruttens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Gnaget AIK's goalkeeper Viktor Kjellman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beto Montenegro. Nicky Bryson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to C. A. In the 71st minute C. A. Pipon Pipon were awarded a corner. Cesario Irazu went to the cornerflag to take it. Viktor Kjellman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Montenegro in the 73rd minute of the match. Herbert Lång fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannes Ruttens having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Wall came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beto Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktor Kjellman having to make a save. When Beto Montenegro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Viktor Kjellman was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a little luck, Gnaget AIK's Viktor Kjellman got control of the ball when Nicky Bryson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The C. A. Pipon Pipon fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when C. A. Pipon Pipon's Nicky Bryson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The corner ended in Jose José almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gnaget AIK's Viktor Kjellman did a great save. When Lanny Valle came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the C. A. Pipon Pipon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lanny Valle couldn't finish the play. Malcolm McIntosh succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3.
