Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes, Bolivar's Esteban Calderero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bolivar reached it. 13 minutes into the match, Brett Cordrey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jannes Ruttens. C. A. Pipon Pipon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brett Cordrey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bolivar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Al Whatley was slow to take the kick. During this time C. A. Pipon Pipon's players had a chance to rest. The corner led C. A. Pipon Pipon's Al Whatley to fire away a dangerous shot which Afiz Ching despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jannes Ruttens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brett Cordrey in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Bolivar got a corner. C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patrik Stöckert ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Bolivar's Patrik Stöckert to fire away a dangerous shot which Jannes Ruttens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Senijad Ibričić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Tedj Sellal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Ruttens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicky Bryson to make the kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Pipon Pipon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patrik Stöckert was slow to take the kick. During this time Bolivar's players had a chance to rest. Patrik Stöckert made a great header on Bolivar's corner, it was just that C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens managed to reach the ball for a save. Afiz Ching showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justus Lintorf, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Nicky Bryson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beto Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Brett Cordrey came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Al Whatley charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Al Whatley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bolivar's Hemza Aliche was substituted for Tedj Sellal. In the 73rd minute, Al Whatley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute of the match Hemza Aliche shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jannes Ruttens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. C. A. Pipon Pipon made a substitution. Lanny Valle replaced Nicky Bryson. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Malcolm McIntosh was substituted for Beto Montenegro. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when Bolivar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Senijad Ibričić didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Malcolm McIntosh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Ching saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afiz Ching took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm McIntosh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C. A. Pipon Pipon were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Bolivar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Al Whatley took the corner.
