Gogo Llorienzo charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 5 played minutes Gnaget AIK got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Roldanillo. 6 minutes into the match, Gnaget AIK's goalkeeper Viktor Kjellman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ashley Gardiner. 9 minutes into the game, Cumhur Tanacan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Viktor Kjellman. Cumhur Tanacan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ashley Gardiner couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gnaget AIK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Dahlman in the 19th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Lee Kerr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Wall came free, but Lee Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Clapham Comets F.C. got a corner. Gnaget AIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ashley Gardiner ran over to the corner to take the kick. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ashley Gardiner was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Viktor Kjellman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 33rd match minute, Gnaget AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Godholm to maneuver through the defense. Lee Kerr didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Godholm went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cumhur Tanacan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Lee Kerr proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Clapham Comets F.C. from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the match, Gnaget AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Barrie Newell came free, but Viktor Kjellman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Sebastian Godholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lee Kerr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Barrie Newell made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Kjellman was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was Ashley Gardiner who took care of the corner kick.
