Remo de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Bryson in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Xipoko's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Bryson came free, but Remo de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Xipoko's Bryce Darby got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Nicky Bryson managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Pipon Pipon's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicky Bryson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remo de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When C. A. Pipon Pipon's Beto Montenegro in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xipoko's goalie prevented a goal. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Carioca came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cícero Cruz was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Xipoko's Remo de Senna got control of the ball when Nicky Bryson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remo de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Montenegro in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remo de Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Beto Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remo de Senna was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beto Montenegro in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remo de Senna saved Xipoko from getting behind. When Ernest Knowles fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xipoko's protests and gave Ernest Knowles a yellow card for diving instead. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Al Whatley shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Remo de Senna but with some difficulty. If Nildo Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When C. A. Pipon Pipon's Beto Montenegro in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pipon Pipon's Malcolm McIntosh was substituted for Beto Montenegro. After 82 played minutes Xipoko got a freekick which was hit by Janusz Grondzki. In the 83rd minute of the match Cesario Irazu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remo de Senna skillfully saved the ball. Remo de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lanny Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Malcolm McIntosh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xipoko's Remo de Senna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Malcolm McIntosh received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Remo de Senna came out and tried to block the shot, but Malcolm McIntosh slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 93rd minute. The C. A. Pipon Pipon players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
