Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Kind of Blue from getting a goal against them. 3 minutes into the game, William Westelinx recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilhelm Galle. William Westelinx showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Hamza Yavaş fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 15th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Sebastian Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Vereijt having to make a save. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Käller in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 26th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Rene Vereijt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when Kind of Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Aznar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilhelm Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Westelinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes in the game Sven-Oskar Carlsson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Joacim Hansson. Joacim Hansson, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when William Westelinx made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes FC Ouagadougou National got a freekick which was hit by William Westelinx. Joel Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Vereijt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Sebastian Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Vereijt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. Rene Vereijt made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Sebastian Käller sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Kind of Blue's Epifanio Aznar got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Jedrzej Kiszkiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes in the game Ardahan Erginer did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jonny Lagerberg. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Käller in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 82 minutes on the clock, Nazmi Tanberk commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. FC Ouagadougou National's Sabahattin Kökten was substituted for Hamza Yavaş. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Ouagadougou National fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! The score was 1-1 after a penalty in the 85th minute, where Kind of Blue:s Sebastian Käller tricked FC Ouagadougou National:s Rene Vereijt with a difficult ball by the left post. In the 91st minute, Sebastian Käller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Vereijt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Robert Justus replaced Paolo Evis. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Käller in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Vereijt prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
