The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Lautaro L.P. booed when Nimrod Tel Babil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristopher Barltrop didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gary Medel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Franco Dionisi made a huge save. In the 12th minute of the match, Leandro Marques tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franco Dionisi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heliodoro Jelves in the 15th minute of play forced Nimrod Tel Babil's goalkeeper Franco Dionisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nimrod Tel Babil's Franco Dionisi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulco Urra in the 17th minute of play. Lautaro L.P.'s Fulco Urra got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franco Dionisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With his leg Franco Dionisi managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Lautaro L.P.'s Andolín Echeandía fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Franco Dionisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Kristopher Barltrop was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. Kristopher Barltrop kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Gary Medel took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco Dionisi. Franco Dionisi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Godfredo Mobellan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Nimrod Tel Babil defense, Andolín Echeandía kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franco Dionisi. The Nimrod Tel Babil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Dionisi should have stopped the shot. Leandro Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Franco Dionisi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Leandro Marques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Franco Dionisi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juvenal Labra kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Franco Dionisi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andolín Echeandía in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Lautaro L.P.'s Andolín Echeandía nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Dionisi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leandro Marques to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Leandro Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lautaro L.P. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 56 minutes into the game, Lautaro L.P.'s Fulco Urra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Dionisi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Franco Dionisi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heliodoro Jelves went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Franco Dionisi came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Lautaro L.P.'s Andolín Echeandía. But to his dismay, Andolín Echeandía quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 69th minute, Leandro Marques made a precise shot to the right of Franco Dionisi. Nimrod Tel Babil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Lautaro L.P. made a substitution. Damián Angulo replaced Leandro Marques. 77 minutes into the game, Andolín Echeandía cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Franco Dionisi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 13-0 when Damián Angulo sped through Nimrod Tel Babil's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Franco Dionisi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damián Angulo in the 85th minute of play forced Nimrod Tel Babil's goalkeeper Franco Dionisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Dionisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andolín Echeandía, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damián Angulo in the 91st minute of play forced Nimrod Tel Babil's goalkeeper Franco Dionisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Andolín Echeandía cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-0. Franco Dionisi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nimrod Tel Babil's Franco Dionisi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reşit Beyan in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Lautaro L.P. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
