The supporters of Jarilla AFC booed when Vidigai SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Gelmiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Afonsinho Félix. Vidigai SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 10 played minutes Jarilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Urbez. If Amado Sidoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vidigai SC's Afonsinho Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Tiso in the 17th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, Vidigai SC's Reynaldo Braga made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amador Tello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Froilan Magdaleno hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Florencio Henric received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Afonsinho Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Vidigai SC's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Sidoro came free, but Afonsinho Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Amado Sidoro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vidigai SC's Afonsinho Félix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Braga got free with Amador Tello in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Florencio Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardinho de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Vidigai SC got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Custódio. Gernando Trigo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Amado Sidoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reynaldo Braga struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Amador Tello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vidigai SC. When Vidigai SC's Reynaldo Braga in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jarilla AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Vidigai SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
