The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, TheLinweLin F.C's Servet Baydar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iggi Burton was left in no man's land by his defense there! With 6 minutes on the clock, Edison Alchin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of TheLinweLin F.C booed when Aitkenvale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edison Alchin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, TheLinweLin F.C's Vahit Ege tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. TheLinweLin F.C's Kemal Tekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fletcher Tupman in the 38th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Servet Baydar made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in TheLinweLin F.C's zone, Kale Bonnison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kemal Tekin came out of the goal and Kale Bonnison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corder Travers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kemal Tekin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. A collision led to TheLinweLin F.C getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Varol Tuğsan hit a great ball. When the match was over TheLinweLin F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aitkenvale throughout the match.
