The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to CD Florencia getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Chico Vigil hit a great ball. Mora Insausti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carabalí Flamenco in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Carabalí Flamenco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CD Florencia's Mora Insausti. Mora Insausti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Parisi Carretero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cojiemies FC's Parisi Carretero in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Florencia's goalie prevented a goal. After 15 minutes, Victoro Selgas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Florencia and the Cojiemies FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CD Florencia's Victoro Selgas got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the game Vera Tella made a throw-in which Ayoví Balaguer played forward. The supporters of CD Florencia booed when Cojiemies FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Olaisola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zumar Cariton was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Elias Solsona. In the 24th minute Danilo Gordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zumar Cariton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cojiemies FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ramiro Anguciana hit a great ball. Zumar Cariton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Gordon in the 25th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Parisi Carretero in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mora Insausti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th match minute, Cojiemies FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtzi Villafranca to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, Carabalí Flamenco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mora Insausti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Carabalí Flamenco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Parisi Carretero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of CD Florencia booed when Cojiemies FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carabalí Flamenco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Cojiemies FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the game, CD Florencia's Danilo Gordon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zumar Cariton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 53 played minutes Cojiemies FC got a freekick which was hit by Guerrón Hubidia. Yaniusky Chavarria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zumar Cariton having to interfere. Mora Insausti didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. In the 66th match minute, Cojiemies FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Olaisola to maneuver through the defense. Cojiemies FC's Zumar Cariton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaniusky Chavarria in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Yaniusky Chavarria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Florencia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Mora Insausti didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. Carabalí Flamenco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Mora Insausti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Yaniusky Chavarria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edson Fortuño kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Cojiemies FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Chacon to maneuver through the defense. Mora Insausti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carabalí Flamenco in the 89th minute. Zumar Cariton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Gordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 94 in the game by Carabalí Flamenco from a close distance when the talented Mora Insausti managed to make a qualified save. CD Florencia's players were relieved. Cojiemies FC's Edson Fortuño pulled a muscle in his leg after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cojiemies FC made a substitution. Vidal Ochari replaced Edson Fortuño. After 97 played minutes CD Florencia got a freekick which was hit by Victoro Selgas. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cojiemies FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
