Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Lütfi Kutlubay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lutz Blattner in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Locos x el Gol's goalkeeper Teobaldo Claris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sal Darby. In the 17th minute Sinforoso Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfi Kutlubay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Claris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sal Darby in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa got a corner. Locos x el Gol's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Flavien Deregnaucourt ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lütfi Kutlubay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sinforoso Marquez in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sal Darby got free with Teobaldo Claris in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sal Darby made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 25thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Teobaldo Claris would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 25 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Sal Darby fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Basilio Olivar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locos x el Gol's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Olivar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lütfi Kutlubay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute of the match Basilio Olivar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lütfi Kutlubay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zanko Shosev in the 95th minute of play forced Locos x el Gol's goalkeeper Teobaldo Claris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Claris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zanko Shosev's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
