In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind DARAS's goalkeeper Vute Baliev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Bertol in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vute Baliev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. DARAS's Vute Baliev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Bertol in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, DARAS's goalkeeper Vute Baliev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fermin Mingo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Nenchev in the 16th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, DARAS's goalkeeper Vute Baliev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Primo. DARAS's Vute Baliev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save DARAS from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the game, Vinnie Jones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DARAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Atlanta the free kick. Vute Baliev made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Teodoro Primo sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Nano Mitrashkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Nenchev in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

51 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Nenchev came free, but Tony Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toni Nenchev. Fermin Mingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vute Baliev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Bertol in the 63rd minute of the match. Volodya Biradzhiev kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Volodya Biradzhiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Tony Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Paolo Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romulo Hever hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Gonzo Ivanov took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Guimarães. Tony Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee ended the match the C. A. Atlanta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
